First Aid Training

Year 4 had an exciting afternoon learning basic First Aid. The children were shown how to follow a safety procedure for being placed in the recovery position.
They had great fun trying the procedure out on each other. How many mums and dads had First Aid tried on them at home?
When the children had got to grips with that, they were shown how to help someone who was choking.
The children asked lots of questions to do with First Aid and about the body. We have been looking at the body in our Science topic.
