Tim Hankins lives in Aldwincle and has been pleased to have served on the Governing Body for nearly 3 years. Since September 2004 he has relished the challenge of chairing the committee.
He first came to Trinity at the age of 4 as one of the second intake to the 'new' school back in 1965, so now his children, Allan currently at Oundle Middle School and Lucy in Year 3, are the third generation to be taught in Aldwincle. Their grandfather was taught at the 'old' school which is now the cattery.
So you can see he has a very strong commitment to the school and as such will always do everything that he can to help the school continue to develop in the future.

David West is retired and lives in Oundle with his wife Janice and their two springer spaniels. They have two children, both now have flown the nest, and one granddaughter. He tries to keep fit by attending a gym, is a member of Elton Furze Golf Club and is also an advanced badminton coach. The rest of his spare time is mostly spent walking, dining out and DIY.
With his enthusiasm, coupled with his skills and experience gained in various management roles within Financial Services he hopes his role as a Governor will benefit
Trinity   Lower   School .

My name is Helen Mallett and I am a full time mum to Jack in Year 1 and his two younger sisters, Emily who will start at Trinity in September and Amber who is desperate to get to Playgroup! We live in Islip with my husband Rob.
Since Jack started at Trinity we have been impressed with the high quality of teaching and the positive, inclusive and caring ethos of the school.  As Governor I am pleased to have the opportunity to support our hardworking and dedicated staff and to help keep our school as such a highly regarded asset to our community.
I sit on the Curriculum committee and hope that my experiences as a teacher will benefit the school.

Mark Horsfield joined as a parent governor in 2006, and lives in Thorpe Waterville. He works in medical technology research at Leicester University , and has experience in many engineering sectors. He sits on the personnel and curriculum committees, and enjoys the different challenges that are brought by being a governor.
His eldest daughter really enjoys her time at Trinity, and he hopes that his younger daughter will follow on through the school.

I have been a governor at Trinity since January 2005, recently moving across to a new governor role as Community Governor. I am a Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA) and I work for an IT company in St Ives. I have lived in Aldwincle since 2003, the very best of my many moves!
I love my role as a governor because it enables me to bring my experience of business and finance to assist in the strategic management of Trinity. It means that I can keep in touch with our village school and play an active part in its future. The role is satisfying, at times frustrating and busy, but always interesting.  I chair the Finance Committee, and also sit on the Health and Safety/Premises Committee, lots of experience of the former, and lots of learning in the latter! I also enjoy coming into school to experience pieces of what

is the joy of its day to day life.

Edward Duval has lived in Islip for two years with his wife Lisa, who is on the 'Friends of Trinity School' committee, Grace who is in Year 2 and Ellie who will be attending Aldwincle Playgroup this year. Grace has come on in leaps and bounds in the past year whilst at Trinity and he feels it is time to play a part in the future of not only his children's education, but the school itself.
He is looking forward to the challenge and hopes to play an important part over the coming years.
